The Amara Resort & Spa, as of May 2021, embarked on a multi million dollar renovation project. The new concept of the hotel is set to have a “tree lodge” aesthetic to reflect the area’s natural surroundings. We were lucky enough to get a newly renovated room that definitely brought that concept to life. Amara is not in the same league. Sedona is a beautiful resort set in a secluded red rock canyon with several hiking trails nearby. The spa, Mii Amo, just closed for renovation for a year . Enchantment is about 20 min drive from the location of uptown Sedona but is a paradise in and of itself.
